Discover anthotypes, an early photographic process that uses natural pigments extracted from plants, flowers, and vegetables to create images using sunlight.
Saturday 15 August
14:00-16:00
📍Villa Canapé
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll experiment with making light-sensitive emulsions from natural materials and create your own camera-less photograph. Your artwork will continue to develop over time as it is exposed to sunlight, making the process itself a reflection on time, transformation, and impermanence.
Please bring a picture frame with a glass plate and clothes that can get stained, or an apron to protect your clothing. All other materials will be provided.
This workshop will be facilitated by Sam Morjau and Katoo Vanhorebeek.
Participation is free and limited to 12 people. Registration is required via the form below.Registration opens August 1 at 10:00AM.
