Blikkenwerpers is een participatief kunstproject waar we samen werken met jonge vrijwilligers en makers om boeiende tentoonstellingen te organiseren rond humanistisch georiënteerde thema's. In 2026 is het thema van de expo 'What about time?'.

Heb je zin om mee te werken aan het Blikkenwerpersverhaal en deel uit te maken van een community van like-minded personen en zo je netwerk uit te breiden? Voor onze zomerexpo ism Canapé (Laken) zoeken we jonge creatievelingen en gemotiveerd organisatorisch talent.

Wil je maker bij Blikkenwerpers zijn?

Als maker bij Blikkenwerpers krijg je de kans om je artistieke talenten tentoon te stellen en maak je een nieuw kunstwerk binnen het thema ‘What about time?’ in een door jou gekozen kunstdomein. Je mag zelf invullen wat dit thema voor jou betekent.

Alle disciplines zijn welkom: beeldende kunst, drama, toegepaste kunsten, audio, performance, etc. Ervaring is geen vereiste.

We bieden je een platform waar je je artistiek volledig kan uitleven, je en tegelijk je netwerk kan uitbreiden. Daarnaast worden je materiaalkosten terugbetaald.

Zin om te vrijwilligen bij Blikkenwerpers?

Als vrijwilliger werk je mee achter de schermen én op de voorgrond: je helpt de expo cureren en vormgeven. Je ondersteunt makers en draagt bij aan een unieke totaalervaring.

Blikkenwerpers is geen standaard expo, maar een kunstfestival met een eigenzinnige mix van statische werken en live performances.

Wie ben je?

• Je bent tussen 18 en 30 jaar oud
• Je hebt voeling met het thema ‘what about time?’
• Je wil samenwerken met andere jonge makers en vrijwilligers
• Je kan je vinden binnen de waarden van het vrijzinnig humanisme

As a maker at Blikkenwerpers, you’ll get the opportunity to showcase your artistic talents by creating a new artwork within the theme ‘What about time?’ in a discipline of your choice. You decide what this theme means to you.

All disciplines are welcome: visual arts, drama, applied arts, audio, performance, etc. No prior experience is required.

We offer a platform where you can fully express yourself and expand your network at the same time. Your material costs will be reimbursed.

Want to volunteer for Blikkenwerpers?

As a volunteer, you’ll work both behind the scenes and on the front lines: helping to curate and shape the exhibition. You’ll support makers and contribute to a unique, immersive experience.

This is not just an ordinary exhibition. It’s an art festival with a
crazy mixture of static art and live performances.
