Our fantastic new art project in collaboration with Dwaalzin/Hujo, where we are putting on a real exhibition with volunteers and artists. Blikkenwerpers casts its gaze on Antwerp, Brussels and Ghent in 2023!
Notre nouveau projet artistique fantastique en collaboration avec Dwaalzin/Hujo, où nous organisons une véritable exposition avec des bénévoles et des artistes. En 2023, Blikkenwerpers se tourne vers Anvers, Bruxelles et Gand!

In 2023 werpt Blikkenwerpers haar blik op Antwerpen, Brussel en Gent. En we zijn op zoek naar jou!
In 2022 is Blikkenwerpers actief geweest rond het thema Persoonlijke vrijheid en zelfbeschikkingsrecht in Gent en Hasselt. We hebben hier heuse samenwerkingen kunnen opzetten met Broei, Z33 en The School. Van een 10-dagen durend kunstenfestival tot een creatieve leefweek en expo’s met een totaal bereik van 700 jongeren.
We hebben het allemaal gedaan en dit jaar kan jij hier aan bijdragen.
Blikkenwerpers opent de ogen en gaat van start in mei 2023. We vinden plaats in Antwerpen, Brussel en (terug) Gent. Je kiest zelf in welke stad je aan de slag wil gaan. De expo’s mikken we op september 2023. Alle samenkomsten, coaching- en feedbackmomenten vallen tussen die periode en bespreken we samen met heel het team.
Wij zoeken jonge makers die willen meewerken aan onze Blikkenwerpers-tentoonstelling. Elke discipline – beeldende kunst, toegepaste kunst, drama, theoretisch etc. – en ervaringsniveau zijn welkom. Wij bieden een platform waar je volledig je ding kan doen en jij je netwerk kan opbouwen. De materialen die jij nodig hebt worden om jouw werk te realiseren worden door ons terugbetaald zodat jij kan doen wat je altijd al hebt willen doen.
Ben je artiest of kunstenaar, afgestudeerd of nog in opleiding, en tussen 18 en 30 jaar? Heb je feeling met het thema ‘zorg’ (in de breedst mogelijke zin van het woord)? Kan je niet wachten om kunst te maken die dit thema aankaart en zo je verhaal te brengen naar het publiek? Zin om deze zomer aan de slag te gaan?
Schrijf je dan nu in voor 2 mei (Gent & Antwerpen) of 15 mei (Brussel) via het formulier hieronder en stel jezelf en wat je maakt kort voor bij “motivatie”. Wij nemen dan verder contact met jou op.

In 2022, Blikkenwerpers was active on the theme of personal freedom and the right of self-determination in Ghent and Hasselt. Here we were able to set up close collaborations with Broei, Z33 and The School. From a 10-day arts festival to a creative living week and exhibitions with a total reach of 700 youths.
We have done it all and this year you can contribute be a part of it.
Tin Throwers opens eyes and launches in May 2023. We will take place in Antwerp, Brussels and ( again) Ghent. You choose which city you want to get involved with. The expo’s target date is September 2023. All meetings, coaching and feedback moments fall between that period and we discuss them together with the whole team.
We are looking for young creators who want to collaborate on our Blikkenwerpers exhibition. Any discipline – visual arts, applied arts, drama, theoretical etc. – and level of experience is welcome. We offer a platform where you can fully do your thing and you can build your network. The materials you need to realise your work will be reimbursed by us so you can do what you have always wanted to do.
Are you an artist, graduate or trainee, and between 18 and 30 years old? Do you have a feeling for the theme of ‘care’ (in the broadest possible sense)? Can’t wait to create art that addresses this theme, bringing your story to the public? Fancy getting started this summer?

En 2022, Blikkenwerpers a été actif sur le thème de la liberté personnelle et du droit à l’autodétermination à Gand et à Hasselt. Nous avons pu y mettre en place de véritables collaborations avec Broei, Z33 et The School. D’un festival artistique de 10 jours à une semaine de vie créative, en passant par des expositions, nous avons touché 700 jeunes au total.
Nous avons tout fait et cette année, vous pouvez y contribuer.
Blikkenwerpers ouvre les yeux et se lance en mai 2023. Nous prendrons place à Anvers, Bruxelles et (de retour) Gand. Vous choisissez la ville dans laquelle vous voulez travailler. L’expo est prévue pour septembre 2023. Toutes les réunions, tous les moments de coaching et de feedback se situent entre cette période et nous en discutons avec l’ensemble de l’équipe.
Nous recherchons de jeunes créateurs qui souhaitent collaborer à notre exposition Blikkenwerpers. Toutes les disciplines – arts visuels, arts appliqués, théâtre, théorie, etc. – et tout niveau d’expérience sont les bienvenus. Nous offrons une plateforme où vous pouvez pleinement faire votre travail et vous pouvez construire votre réseau. Les matériaux nécessaires à la réalisation de votre travail seront remboursés par nous afin que vous puissiez faire ce que vous avez toujours voulu faire.
Vous êtes artiste, diplômé ou étudiant, et vous êtes entre 18 et 30 ans ? Vous êtes sensible au thème des soins (au sens le plus large possible) ? Vous êtes impatient de créer des œuvres d’art sur ce thème et de présenter votre histoire au public ? Vous voulez commencer cet été ?
