Sign up for an interactive introduction to the world of drag. Explore the history and culture of drag, learn about character creation, fashion, and performance, and pick up practical tips to elevate your makeup and styling skills.
The workshop will be given by Startruck Darkness.
Startruck Darkness is a non-binary drag artist, fashion designer, and cosplayer from the Enzkreis region of Germany. They enjoy showcasing their extravagant costume designs on stage and playing with gender roles. In 2024, Startruck moved to Belgium and has since been designing stage costumes for other drag artists while regularly performing in clubs, cabarets, Pride events, and other shows across Europe.
No previous experience is required. This workshop is free! We recommend bringing your own makeup.

This event is part of our Blikkenwerpers exhibition around the theme ‘What about Time?.
Blikkenwerpers is a participatory art project by and for young artists and organisers. Together, they created a 4-day art festival featuring an exhibition and a diverse programme of live events.
